日本のアザミウマ

Chaetanaphothrips machili Hood, 1954

和名:-

台湾から記載され、マラヤからも知られる。日本では本州から沖縄のタブ、クスノキ等のクスノキ科の葉から得られている。前胸背板は長刺毛を欠く。オスは日本では稀。

This species was described from Taiwan and also recorded from Malaya. It has been collected from the leaves of Lauraceae such as Machilus thunbergii and Cinnamomum camphora. It has the pronotum without posteroangular setae. The male is very few in Japan.
