和名:-

台湾から記載され、マレーシアからも知られる。日本では本州から琉球列島のタブノキ、クスノキ等のクスノキ科の葉から得られている。前胸背板は長刺毛を欠く。オスは日本では稀。

This species was described from Taiwan and also recorded from Malaysia. It has been collected from Honshu to the Ryukyu Islands, and occurs commonly on the leaves of Lauraceae such as Machilus thunbergii and Cinnamomum camphora in Japan. It has the pronotum without posteroangular setae. Male is very few in Japan.
